Welcome to CARMÉ. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website [www.shop-carme.com] (the “Website”) and purchases of our products. By visiting our Website or placing an order, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.

1. Company Information

This Website is owned and operated by PT. Meraki Eunoia Baswara, a limited liability company incorporated under the laws of the Republic of Indonesia, trading under the brand name CARMÉ.

2. Orders & Acceptance

  • By placing an order, you represent that you are legally capable of entering into binding contracts in your jurisdiction.

  • All orders are subject to availability and acceptance by us. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order for reasons including suspected fraud, errors in product description, or non-payment.

  • Orders can only be modified or cancelled within 12 hours of purchase. After this, processing begins.

3. Prices & Payment

  • Prices are shown in [currency] and may vary by region.

  • We accept major credit cards, bank transfers, and other secure methods displayed at checkout.

  • Payment must be received in full before dispatch.

4. Shipping & Delivery

  • Indonesia: Orders are processed within 1–2 business days; delivery typically takes 2–5 business days.

  • Bali: Same-day or next-day delivery may be arranged (contact us at hello@shop-carme.com).

  • International: We ship to Malaysia, Singapore, Australia, and Canada. Orders are processed within 2–3 business days, with estimated delivery of 7–14 business days depending on customs clearance.

  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on weight.

  • International customers are responsible for all applicable customs duties, import taxes, or fees as required by their country’s regulations.

5. Returns & Exchanges

Our Return & Exchange Policy forms part of these Terms:

  • Domestic (Indonesia): Returns or exchanges may be requested within 7 days of delivery.

  • International: Returns may be requested within 14 days of delivery.

  • Items must be unworn, unwashed, unaltered, with tags and original packaging intact.

  • Exclusions: Swimwear/bikinis (unless defective), bra pads/inner wear, sale or discounted items, gifts, or giveaways.

  • Costs: Customers are responsible for return courier fees and duties unless the product is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

  • Refunds: Returns are processed as store credit only (valid for 6 months). Store credit will be issued within 7–10 business days after inspection.

  • Defective or Incorrect Items: CARMÉ will cover return costs and provide a replacement or store credit.

6. Intellectual Property

  • All designs, photographs, text, graphics, logos, and content on the Website are the exclusive property of PT. Meraki Eunoia Baswara (trading as CARMÉ).

  • Protected by Indonesian Copyright Law (Law No. 28/2014), Trademark Law (Law No. 20/2016), and international IP conventions.

  • No reproduction, distribution, or modification is permitted without our prior written consent.

7. Product Information & Care

  • All pieces are designed and crafted in Bali using natural fabrics. Minor variations in color, texture, or size may occur due to fabric nature and production process.

  • Care instructions are provided with each product; we are not liable for damage resulting from failure to follow them.

8. Limitation of Liability

  • To the fullest extent permitted by law, CARMÉ shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages from your use of our Website or products.

  • Products are provided “as described,” and we do not guarantee suitability for purposes beyond stated use.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes mandatory consumer rights under Indonesian law or the laws of your country of residence.

 

9. Privacy & Data Protection

  • We collect and process personal data in line with Indonesian Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 27/2022) and applicable international standards.

10. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
  • Disputes shall first be resolved amicably within 30 days. If unresolved, disputes will be referred to the South Jakarta District Court (Pengadilan Negeri Jakarta Selatan), unless otherwise required by mandatory consumer law in your country.

 

11. Overseas Customers

  • If you access our Website outside Indonesia, you are responsible for compliance with your local laws.

  • Nothing in these Terms affects your non-waivable statutory consumer rights under your country’s law.
